Files and text you use with our tools

Image, PDF, file, text, developer and calculator tools on M2Toolkit run entirely in your web browser. When you choose a file or type text, it is processed on your device and is not sent to our servers. When you close or reload the page, it is cleared from memory.

A few tools save your own work in your browser's local storage so it's still there next time, for example the Online Notepad. That data stays on your device; you can delete it from the tool or by clearing your browser's site data.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type and the page requested) for security and reliability. These logs don't include anything you enter into the tools.

Analytics

We may use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are visited and how the site performs. It collects information such as pages viewed, approximate location (country/city), device and browser type. It does not receive the content of your files or text. Where required by law, analytics cookies are only set with your consent.

Advertising

To keep the tools free, we may show ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies to show ads based on your visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalised advertising at Google Ads Settings. Learn more in how Google uses data in advertising.

Children

The site is a general-audience tool site and is not directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or CCPA), you may have rights to access or delete personal data held about you.
