How to use the Age Calculator
- Enter the date of birth.
- Leave the second date as today, or choose another date to see the age on that day.
- Read the exact age, totals and next birthday.
What does this tool do?
The calculator counts whole years, then whole months, then the remaining days — the same way people naturally describe age. It handles leap years and months of different lengths correctly.
People born on February 29 have their birthday counted on February 28 in non-leap years, which is how most legal systems treat it.
Why use it?
- Exact age for forms, visas and eligibility checks.
- Age on a past or future date.
- Fun totals: days, weeks and hours alive.
Example
Someone born on June 15, 1995 is 31 years, 3 months and 19 days old on October 4, 2026. That's 11,434 days in total.
Accuracy and limits
- Ages are calculated from calendar dates; the time of birth isn't included.
Privacy
The calculation happens instantly in your browser. The numbers you enter are not sent to our servers or saved. There's no account to create and nothing to install.
