How to use the AVIF to JPG
- Choose your AVIF files (several at once is fine).
- Adjust quality if the option is shown.
- Download the JPG files individually or as a ZIP.
What does this tool do?
AVIF is a newer, very efficient image format. Not every app supports it yet, so converting to JPG makes images open everywhere. Your browser needs to be able to read AVIF (all current major browsers can).
Conversion happens on your device, so it's fast and your pictures stay private.
Why use it?
- Open AVIF images in older apps.
- Upload to forms that need JPG.
- Batch conversion.
Privacy
Your files are processed entirely in your browser using built-in web technologies. They are not uploaded to our servers, and closing the page clears them from memory. There's no account to create and nothing to install.
Frequently asked questions
Are my photos uploaded?
No. Everything happens in your browser using the Canvas API. Your images never leave your device, which is why it works even on a slow connection.
