How to use the camelCase & snake_case Converter
- Type or paste names in any style, one per line.
- See every format at once.
- Copy the one you need.
What does this tool do?
Different languages and tools prefer different naming styles: camelCase in JavaScript, snake_case in Python and SQL, PascalCase for classes, kebab-case for URLs and CSS, and CONSTANT_CASE for constants.
The converter splits names into words intelligently — including acronyms, so “parseHTTPResponse” becomes parse_http_response.
Why use it?
- Convert API keys between backend and frontend conventions.
- Rename lots of identifiers at once.
- Handles acronyms and numbers.
Example: “user profile id”
One input, every style:
| Style | Result |
|---|---|
| camelCase | userProfileId |
| PascalCase | UserProfileId |
| snake_case | user_profile_id |
| CONSTANT_CASE | USER_PROFILE_ID |
| kebab-case | user-profile-id |
