How to use the PDF Booklet Maker
- Choose a PDF and the paper you'll print on.
- Download the booklet PDF — blank pages are added to make a multiple of four.
- Print double-sided, flipping on the short edge, then fold the stack and staple along the spine.
What does this tool do?
Booklet imposition places page 8 next to page 1, page 2 next to page 7 and so on, so the pages run in order once the sheets are folded together. It's how zines, programmes, order-of-service sheets and small manuals are printed.
Creep compensation nudges pages on inner sheets toward the spine for thicker booklets. Your PDF is processed on your own device and never uploaded.
