How to use the Unicode Character Inspector
- Paste your text.
- Check the table for each character's code point, bytes and type.
- Copy an escaped version for JavaScript, HTML, CSS or Python.
What does this tool do?
Invisible characters like zero-width spaces, non-breaking spaces and byte-order marks break code, searches and form validation without any visible sign. The inspector lists every code point and warns when hidden ones are present.
It also shows UTF-8 and UTF-16 encodings and can escape non-ASCII characters for source code.
Why use it?
- Finds invisible characters.
- Bytes and code points.
- Escape for four languages.
