How to use the Compare PDFs
- Choose the original PDF (A) and the changed PDF (B).
- Read the text differences — added lines in green, removed in red.
- Switch to visual mode to overlay pages and see layout or image changes.
What does this tool do?
Use it to check what changed in a contract revision, a lease renewal, a policy update or a thesis draft. The text diff ignores layout shifts; the visual overlay catches changes to images, signatures and formatting that a text comparison misses.
Both files stay on your device and are never uploaded.

Accuracy and limits
- Scanned PDFs have no text to compare — use visual mode. If pages shift (for example a paragraph was added early on), the visual overlay of later pages will show large differences.
Privacy
Your files are processed entirely in your browser using built-in web technologies. They are not uploaded to our servers, and closing the page clears them from memory. There's no account to create and nothing to install.
