How to use the Days Between Dates
- Pick the start date and the end date.
- Tick “Include the end date” if both days should count — for example, for a holiday or rental.
- Read the number of days, plus weeks, months and weekdays.
What does this tool do?
By default the calculator counts the days from one date to the other, the way you'd count nights in a hotel. Including the end date adds one, which is how you'd count days of an event.
It also shows the difference in years, months and days and the number of weekdays, which is handy for deadlines.
Why use it?
- Countdowns to holidays, weddings and exams.
- Notice periods and contract lengths.
- Weekday counts for deadlines.
Example
From October 4, 2026 to December 25, 2026 is 82 days — 11 weeks and 5 days.
Privacy
The calculation happens instantly in your browser. The numbers you enter are not sent to our servers or saved. There's no account to create and nothing to install.
