How to use the Decimal to Fraction Converter

- For repeating decimals, put the repeating digits in brackets: 0.(3) or 0.1(6).
- Read the fraction, mixed number and percentage.
What does this tool do?
A terminating decimal is a fraction over a power of ten: 0.875 = 875/1000, which simplifies to 7/8 by dividing by the greatest common divisor.
Repeating decimals can be converted exactly too: 0.333… is 1/3 and 0.1666… is 1/6. Use brackets to mark the repeating part.
