How to use the Paper Size Chart
- Pick a paper size.
- Optionally set a DPI to see the pixel dimensions.
- Read the size in mm, cm, inches and points, plus the rest of the series.
What does this tool do?
ISO 216 A sizes all share the aspect ratio 1 : √2, so cutting one in half gives the next size: A4 is 210 × 297 mm, A5 is half of that. B sizes sit between A sizes, and C sizes fit A-sized paper in envelopes.
North America uses Letter (8.5 × 11 in), Legal (8.5 × 14 in) and Tabloid (11 × 17 in) instead.
Why use it?
- A, B, C and US sizes.
- Pixels at any DPI for print design.
- Points for desktop publishing.
