How to use the What's My Screen Resolution
- Open the page — your details appear immediately.
- Resize the window to watch the viewport change.
- Copy everything for a support ticket if needed.
What does this tool do?
Web pages see “CSS pixels”, which are usually fewer than the screen's physical pixels. On a phone with a device pixel ratio of 3, a 390 px wide viewport is 1,170 physical pixels across.
Why use it?
- Report display details to support teams.
- Test responsive designs.
- Check high-DPI (retina) displays.
Common viewport widths
Phones: about 360–430 px. Tablets: 768–1,024 px. Laptops: 1,280–1,536 px. Desktop monitors: 1,920 px and up.
