What does this tool do?
Speed, distance and time are linked by one formula: distance = speed × time. Rearranged, speed = distance ÷ time and time = distance ÷ speed.
Travel times are also shown in hours, minutes and seconds, so 2.5 h reads as 2 h 30 min. Remember this gives the time at a constant average speed — stops and traffic add more.
