How to use the Silence Remover & Detector
- Choose an audio file.
- Adjust the silence threshold and minimum pause until the red highlights match the gaps.
- Choose how much pause to keep at each cut, then download.
What does this tool do?
Tightens podcasts, lectures, voice-overs and voice notes by removing long pauses. Keeping 0.15–0.25 s at each cut keeps speech sounding natural rather than chopped.
For noisy recordings raise the threshold (towards −30 dB) so background hiss counts as silence. Audio is processed on your own device and never uploaded.
