How to use the SVG Viewer

  1. Drop an SVG file or paste SVG code.
  2. Switch backgrounds and zoom to inspect it.
  3. Check size, viewBox and element counts — then convert or optimise it if needed.

What does this tool do?

SVG files are code, and can contain scripts. The preview is sanitised with DOMPurify, so scripts and event handlers are stripped before anything is shown, and you're warned when the file contained them.

Checking on both light and dark backgrounds catches icons that disappear in dark mode. Files are read on your device and never uploaded.
